Energy upgrading of a 6-storey, 27-unit residential building.
The energy requalification of the residential building addressed and resolved the deterioration issues of the facade, which was characterized by detached plaster and deteriorated balcony sections, through consolidation and renovation works on the exterior. Thermal insulation with a cladding system was installed, along with the replacement of some window frames and shutters, improving the building’s energy efficiency and significantly reducing heat dispersion compared to its original state.

The intervention contributed to enhancing indoor comfort for the residences, leading to lower energy consumption and a renewed, contemporary architectural aesthetic.
Dark-colored ventilated facades have been used as the new exterior cladding, creating a chromatic contrast between the dark panels and the white balconies or certain portions of the masonry. The stairwell area is shielded by dark horizontal slats.
The operation was carried out by taking advantage of various building incentives, including the Superbonus 110%, the Facade Bonus with a 90% tax deduction, and the Renovation Bonus at 50%.

Summary of the energy requalification intervention:
Natural gas saved: 27,649.70 m³/year (equal to 70.10%)
Energy saved: 265,210.30 kWh/year
Global non-renewable performance index (EPgl, nren): -64.40%
Total global building performance index (EPgl, tot): -57.20%
